Michael Matters Grant #1

NorthShore University HealthSystem Foundation notified us this morning that another $1,500.00 Michael Matters Foundation grant has been awarded to a brain cancer patient in his 40’s with glioblastoma.  The grant recipient is unemployed receiving only food stamps.  He needs assistance with transportation costs, food, housekeeping, co-pays for medications, phone, and other living expenses.  Thank you again to our Michael Matters supporters who allow us to provide these important funds that give critically needed help to brain cancer patients. Michael Matters Grant #2

The Michael Matters Foundation awarded a $1,500.00 grant today to a man in his 50’s with glioblastoma. The patient lives in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin and commutes for treatment to NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Illinois.  He needs assistance with transportation costs to and from the hospital; non-medical home care, housekeeping and medications. Michael Matters Grant #3

The Michael Matters Foundation has been awarded another $1,500.00 patient grant through our friends at NorthShore University HealthSystem Foundation!  The grant recipient is in his 60’s with glioblastoma, Stage IV.  He has been unable to work since diagnosis.  Sadly, his wife also has recently finished treatment for breast cancer.  The family will use this grant to assist them with buying groceries and other essentials.
