For the ninth time in the past 10-days, The Michael Matters Foundation has awarded a $1,500 grant to an individual fighting brain cancer. Today’s grant went to a NorthShore University HealthSystem Kellogg Cancer Center patient in her 20’s with Heomorphic Xanthastrocytoma. Unfortunately, she lost the ability to use her right side and is now wheelchair bound. This has led to her inability to work. The $1,500 grant will help with monthly expenses such as her mortgage. She is extremely grateful for this tremendous blessing provided by the supporters of The Michael Matters Foundation.
