Libertyville High School Student Council is thrilled to announce that our 2nd annual LHS Care in Color Run will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 12:00 p.m – 2:00 p.m. This annual event is only successful with the support from our wonderful community.Last year, we exceeded our goal of raising $1,000 and actually raised $4,000, which allowed us to buy 40 water filters for children in Kenya through the organization Safe Water Kenya.

This year we’re shifting our focus to a domestic organization with roots near to our community. We are proud to announce that 100% of race proceeds will be donated to Michael Matters, a foundation dedicated to providing medical treatment, grants, and research to those with Glioblastoma, a lethal brain tumor. We hope that you’ll join us in making a difference.
