2017 New Year, Same Wish Raised $103,000 for Brain Cancer Patients
The Michael Matters Foundation’s, 2017 “New Year, Same Wish” fundraiser was a huge success! More than 400 supporters came together at Viper Alley on February 3, 2017 to raise money for brain cancer patients desperately in need of our help. This year’s fundraiser boasted exciting silent auction prizes to Tuscany, Italy, Key Biscayne, Florida, Las Vegas and so much more.
The fundraiser exceeded our goal and raised $103,000.00 to support brain cancer patients and their families through the Michael Matters grant programs! We are so proud of this accomplishment and thankful to our supporters, partners and volunteers who made this possible.
The money raised will assist with our grant programs at NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center, Northwestern Proton Center, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and our newest partner, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital. We are proud to be partnered with these fantastic treatment centers and look forward to helping those patients in need.
Please be on the look-out for our upcoming grant announcements, which will highlight the wonderful people your contributions help support. Again, thank you for making the 4th Annual “New Year, Same Wish” fundraiser such a great event, we couldn’t have done it without you!
